Holt/"Star" Player

He may well have been in the League 1 campaign and probably was in the Championship season-last season, well, he won POTS but it could have been Ruddy and he looked awkward getting the trophy and at the end of season bash.

He'd struggle to be the star player next season if he was here-Elliott Bennett is, I think, going to come into his own, ditto Ryan Bennett and Howson, especially, who will become the player a lot of people focus on when they talk about Norwich, if he has a good start then there will be infinite rumours about him moving on come January.

Then there is Pilks, season under his belt, new Manager, regular starter maybe. Big season for him.

Holty had been top dog for a while but there are plenty more in the pack now ready for that and he might have been feeling a little insecure-I didn't think he had an ego but, judging on whats been said and Tweeted, I think he does and I think he felt threatened-thus longer contract, jumps to front of queue, gets the star treatment and reassurance.

He may have to adjust his sights at other clubs though, very much a big fish here, smaller one elsewhere situaton-I still think that the way things have panned out that he and his agent have burnt their bridges and it was never their intention for that to happen, bluff called at all that.
