From my point of view

McNally is doing whatever he thinks is in the clubs best interest. If that means making statements which aren't always the full truth, than so be it.

He has also stated that Holt is not for sale. We all know that it is not like that. Everybody has their price. McNally, of course, also knows this. He has just chosen the defiant tactic towards Holt.

If the decisions to turn down Lambert speaking to Villa and Holts transfer request are the correct ones - it's too early to tell, but I am convinced that both decisions were made with the clubs best interest in mind.

In McNally we trust.
