Need some advice... How do you deal with idiot parents?

My mother is moving to Norfolk, doesn't really know the area very well, is thinking of moving to Stalham, and giving up her car.

I live in the Norwich area, so it won't be practical for us to take the kids to Stalham for her to babysit should we want a night out in Norwich. Mother won't listen to me... and says that sort of thing can be sorted out after she has bought the house.

I have found a better house in Norwich that has everything she wants and more for her to look at buying, but she won't even take a look at it. She is so stubborn that it has wound me up.
