Well I've got a couple of jobs lined up

And signed on, just to tide me over until hopefully one of them comes off.

I went to the signing on meeting two weeks ago, and had to agree to do 3 things before today's meeting to try and find a job, keeping a list of the things I had done to take back and show them today.

Went in today, sat down, he spent 30 seconds looking at what I'd done, showed me a couple of jobs and sent me on my way.

If all you have to do to claim job seekers is write on a piece of paper that on Thursday you read the job section of the EDP, I'm not surprised people abuse it.

I thought you would have to demonstrate communications with employers to show you have contacted them.
