f**king hell, you're lucky.....

i was made redundant in 2003, immediately got the feelers out at various recruitment agencies, meanwhile went to the local DHSS to see what i was entitled to....

They said I was only entitled to something like ?50 a week IF i went to job interviews lined up BY THEM! I showed interviews lined up at various recruitment consultants, and various jobs put forward for my to attend interviews but they insisted i had to go for the job THEY set up and none other counted......

you wouldnt believe what level of job they wanted to send me to, was f**king embaressing. I declined after they agreed the level of job they were sending me too wasnt suitable and HAD i got the job i'd only stay till one of the recrutiment jobs came off - so total waste of time and preventing someone else getting a job they'd want....

so, in the 3 months I was unemplyed, i still had a f**k-off mortgage to pay, but got f**k-all from the government, even though I could have got ?150 had I went along with their STUPID policies....
