Firstly, he is complaining about a real rise of 5% in prices - by his figures. Well you pay for what you get. Is the product on offer at Carrow Road now 5% better than what was on offer when prices were last set? My answer is a resounding "yes"!
Secondly, price will be set largely by supply and demand. The club will be trying to maximise its advantage by charging as much as it can whilst keeping the ground full. This with the repeated aim of giving Lambert as much money to spend as it can. From a personal financial point of view I'd rather had stayed the same but, looking at the bigger picture, I can't criticise the club.
Of course the club can charge high prices because Carrow Road isn't big enough. This is partly due to the Doncaster/Cullen/O'Hara axis who left us in the ludicrous position of having a ground with insufficient capacity, and yet with a loss-making hotel taking up one corner.
