The lad is not big and I would have liked to see what Crouch could have done with SWP putting in the crosses. Lets not forget that it was Crouch who started the move that led to the second goal.

As for Rooney, he is a very talented player but I think he lacks the intelligence to be a truly great player. Still more than worth his place though.
