I agree, but the instant response when getting caught on the bridge of the snout is to

touch it to see if it's bleeding, which is what BJ did. What Wanker was referring to as "extras" is just a normal reaction.

If he wanted to con the ref he would have gone down clutching his face like Tierney did against Klasnic.

At the end of the day it was violent conduct, therefore straight red.
