Just read.....

Newspaper reports on game and board below and saw that the Bale chants were thought of as 'unsavoury' and made some below feel ''uneasy' and then I wrote the 'mock' interview above. Now can I just say that I never ever considered any of this anything other than banter (in same way as Rooney is called Shrek etc). and i'm horrified to think it could be thought of otherwise. If I'd have thought for one minute that this could be interpreted in any other way I wouldn't have written it and it was only having read match reports and comments below that i became aware. For the record I thought Bale was one of the best players I've ever seen and I must apologise if I've upset anyone with a rather poor attempt at humour.
