ok sounds interesting

I need your advice on bikes, this is quite a small town but I spend probably about 20 quid a week in collectivos and taxis, want to cut that down by getting a bike. The earth and roads here are quity rough, rocky and sandy in places. I would also quite like to cycle into Peru at some point. What are some good bikes you can recommend, nothing too expensive, around the 150-200 quid mark if that's realistic.
