The decision to Sack Roeder in January, was about the only timely decision Doomcaster made

Sadly the decision to install Gunn as a replacement was worse than the one to hire Grant (at a price). Roeder was actually quite an astute appointment (under the circumstances) sadly his history at other clubs repeated itself in every way, the good followed by the bad.
