they're quite capable of purchasing alcohol from off-licences, supermarkets or corner shops to fuel their pathetic yobbish behaviour.

Besides more often or not it's drugs that fuel the crime and sorts of anti-social behaviour that is such a blight on modern day Britain. The whole problem of anti-social behaviour needs dealing with at the root of the problem, not just acting on clamping down on by-products of that behaviour.
