Spot On

No-one seems to want to think the problems are complex and long standing ones, yes, you can triple the amount of police on the streets and resort to water cannon and, God help us, rubber bullets-but it'll be like taking an Asprin to help with your backache, the pain might temporarily subside but the root cause will still be there.

Politicians are afraid to adnit to the real reasons and just want to paper the cracks... again.
