Agree. The actions are criminal - the reasons are complex.

Decades of telling people there is no society, only individuals; removing representation for the people by devaluing/removing powers from labour movements, unions, employment collectives; ignoring the poorer areas, lack of investment; fostering a culture of greed, promoting success as represented by not only what you own, but by what brand of what you own and an economics policy that increases the divide between the rich and the poor

will only lead to trouble.
