Haven't been there but I've been to somewhere just as horrific ...The Killing Fields and Tuol Sleng. They are very important reminders of how evil the human race can be. To add to your point about tourists having their photos taken in these places, it's also a disgrace that tourism agencies in Cambodia offer a trip to a Shooting Range after you've been to see the horrors. I honestly have no idea how somebody can do that. As some graffiti said on the walls of the S21 Prison Museum...

'All this AND the shooting range in one day...UNTHINKABLE'
