On a different note, was gonna give you a call last night as I helped rescue a cat

The cat (quite young) was following my girlfriend and I down the street then it was scared off by a dog barking from behind a gate, it darted into the road narrowly missing a car then as we carried on walking we heard it screaming turned around and it had been set upon by 2 dogs so we ran back and scared the dogs off. It had been bitten by them.

My girlfriend was feeling a bit guilty about it (as she had offered it some food and that's why it followed us) so she carried it home. We then managed to wash it and clean the wound (no collar, quite smelly - pretty sure it was a street cat). The wound is still there and bleeding from time to time but gf's brother reckons it's not that bad, it's covered most of the time so it doesn't get infected. He's got a couple of cats back in Santiago. Lovely cat though, looking fairly healthy now and seems very happy here in it's new environment.
