I think Gunn was harshly done by.

Nelson, Askou, Gill, Macdonald, Holt, even OTJ were all good players for league one assembled for v.little money.

He took over a club in freefall, an appalling squad with a poisonous atmosphere around the club and couldn't turn it round before relegation. It would've defeated far better managers.

I think if he'd taken over a mid table league one or league two club he'd have done ok.

And lets be fair he made the most important signing in the club's history on a free transfer. Without theoklitos we'd never have had Lambert ;-)
