Reason why Worthy must stay

Before you all start slating me just take one second of your busy lives to reflect....

Alan Pardew, does well at Reading, moves to West Ham. Has an absolute nightmare, fans turn on him as you all have on Worthington. However the board stand by their man. In all honesty, at nearly any other club he would have been sacked as the "expectation level" of West Ham was automatic promotion.

FACT: He struggled to get promotion, even did it through the back door of the playoffs.

FACT: West Ham now looking composed, and inventive, and performing well in the premiership.

Everton, Moyes had a nightmare 2 years ago, board stuck by him, last year he qualifies for champions league, this year he might get relegated. But they wont sack him, they will stick by him and he will make it good again.

Moral of the story, managers do not become good or bad overnight, stick by them and it will come good.

All this panic, panic, panic, is just useless. If a new guy came in and performed the same, how long would it be before you all turn on him?

We have seen the success Worthy brought in, he has transformed the club, yes he had a bad year last year and the start hasnt been the greatest, but our expectation level is higher now and you need to think back to how he hauled this club to where the expection lies today.

Im not saying you are all narrow minded, but im fed up of reading and hearing so much short term negativity.
