punishing him with a life ban suggests that he can never be rehabilitated and learn the errors of his ways. He's 22 ffs. Ok, he's a total tit, but he's just a kid and probably hasn't really given any of these issues any real thought until now.
Ban for a couple of years and a warning as to future conduct and that's plenty
