Maybe im getting soft in my old age............

But I think the outrage over Luke is getting a bit OTT.

I could fully understand the continued s**t storm if the kid was digging his heels in as a racist and was totally unrepentant.

The kid posted some stupid s**t and now obviously wished he didnt......

The fact he deleted it and has fully apologized should be taken into account.

The fact he has been banned for life plus the publicity he and his family has faced is pretty decent punishment.

The positive news is it will deter others from posting s**t like this on twitter in the future.

The kid f**ked up...........I have f**ked up many times in my life........ sometimes you cant do anything else but hold your hands up and say........ I f**ked up.
