Would surely be applied from next season?
So they commence Prem life on -10 points or whatever?
Boo hoo, they'd be amongst the odds on favourites for relegation anyway. They'd still get the Prem income, plus the parachute payments. A points deduction to apply from August would be no punishment at all and i suspect, although they'd publicly make sounds of protest and Warnock would smoulder at the seams, secretly, they'd settle for that, given they'd come back down again with all the money and look to bounce back again, wealthy and "clean".
I just can't see anything happening other than their going up as Champions and taking their place in the Prem next season. I really can't. The FA simply will not take a stand on this, it will affect their cosy existence and gentlemans club way of life too much.
