Good question. Answer probably depends on personal circumstances though

I'd like the idea of 'freezing'. Will pay more if we go up for prem football, no increase if we come down.

With my own current financial arrangements that'd work for me, many may disagree.

That said though, spending the money may mean we don't need to worry about coming down.........

I think in balance i'd rather we gave it all we've got, and left it to me to find the cash from somewhere!!
