I agree with most of that

Funny with youngsters, everything can change so quickly. You can be a England Youth Regular and destined for the big time (Luke Moore & Ryan Jarvis as examples!) at 16 then by 18-19 despite gaining first team they never push on.

Then you have players like Carroll who really push on when they gain that first team experience. On the subject of Newcastle, that Nile Ranger looks abysmal every time I have seen him but is meant to be very highly rated.

Wickham to me, looks to have stood still, gone backwards over the past year or so, however, it could all change again and he could really push on!! Just no telling at times.

PS: I "used" to like Edwards too!!
