that's exactly what is GOOD about forests, they are "dormant"!

whatever goes on in terms of business using forestland is by its very nature bad. They need to be left dormant. They'll probably end up being replaced by fast-growing non-native trees that prduce the same carbon benefits etc but ruin the natural flora
