proposing to sell off what isnt protected and what is currently sat dormant/doing nothing, but owned by the state. No doubt potential investors will have to submit their plans of what to do with the land. Why blindly sell a small piece of council owned land to someone for say ?1m, not knowing what they intend to do with it, when they'd more than likely sell it to someone else for ?800,000 who intends to turn it into a money making venture, empolying local people, attracting tourism, creating revenue etc for the area, generating more tax.
I dont think you're giving the government a fair crack of the whip here.
