y'know, i mean c'mon surely i'm not the only one marvelling at the timing...

but seriously though, yeah i think bail is probably fair enough, *if* some of what Assange's legal team says is true then it does smell a bit iffy, (e.g. first prosecutor dropping charges before they were picked up by a 2nd, this 2nd prosecutor not releasing to him and his legal team full details of the allegations made against him) but i don't believe the Merkins have anything to do with the original allegations at all
