Swedish prosecutors have appealed

It's probably fair enough to grant him bail; but he should go to Sweden and face the courts there. I don't buy this idea that they're just holding charges pending extradition from Sweden to the US. I would have thought the US would find it just as easy (easier even) to extradite him from the UK (assuming they can work out what they might be able to charge him with)
