what you need is to know a BT openreach engineer who uses the wroth!!

the thing with sky is their backhaul serices sre limited I.E the link back to their servers from your local exchange

if you could give me an idea of where you live i might be able to tell you if you have the aprox speed

what lurd says is also correct, it is much better to get the router plugged in the master socket, which is better to be the first socket in the house and NO internal wiring
