Do you think it at all odd that Cole is now likely to start in our opening game, after starting precisely one competitive match, and no friendlies, since Capello got his feet under the desk?

Seems to me to reflect the fact that Capello's plans have started to fall apart a bit (and so we've ended up pretty much with the team we had before he started).
