FYI

Both the governor of LA, and the Mayor of NO, the people *actually* responsible for disaster planning & relief, are both Democrats.

Which does rather punch a whole in it being a Republican shambles.

(now i'm not saying the Federal Govt has been blameless, but a lot of the blame for the shambles of the evacuation etc lies at the city & State level)
