whichever, you'd end up with slo-mo replays and little digi-measuring thingummybobs to see if the lino had got it right or night.

Agree iwth you tho, I'd quite like ot see a trial of no-offside footie. Argument would be that it would spread the game out a bit - ie teams would leave a striker up, so the other team would leave a defender back, so there'd be more space in midfield. Might be quite good, you never know.
