It's not good for society but then it's upto the government, it's up to us as a race of

people to come up with a society that does not leave people out on the streets with a drink and or drug habit. Sad fact is we live in a society where we have homeless people, lots of them, from lots of different backgrounds and experiences, who have absolutely nothing left in life but a drink or a drug to make them feel, for one minute, that none of it matters, for one moment to feel a bit of joy, to feel human again, to feel good.

I'm sorry but it's just an excuse not to give, people should just be more honest. Even if that honesty is, 'it aint my fault he's homeless' I respect that more than the drink and drugs thing.

It's the same as people who don't give to charity because it will only be spent to buy arms for 3rd world dictators. Stop the noise and just admit, you don't give because you don't give enough of a s**t. Nothing wrong with that, just be honest.
