Three possibilities

1. That was a phishing email scam linked to a false phone number. The wording is fairly normal.

a) Did you check the number you called was the actual bank number
b) Did you actually check the balance

2. You have got a trojan keylogger which has sent your details through.

3. Someone knows your password
