I followed your link to the Hosts thingy, didn't really understand what I was being advised to do, decided that it must mean "just put an empty file named 'hosts' in the designated folder", went to the folder to do that and found I had one already in there.

Flummoxed. Has Adblock already done it, then? I don't understand. Anyone want anything heavy lifted?
