I think

the lad thinks hes a lot better than he is, and he will go to blackburn with the same attitude as here, and he won't dig in for them when they spent the season struggling

He's more likely to get clobbered in training by the dirty buggers and sit most of the season out with his nobbly body not being able to handle it
