Three points ...

1. Doherty was played at CB v Coventry, which contradicts your point. However, he was abysmal, which reinforces it.

2. The Spuds fans I know say Marney *is* a right-sided player. Not a winger necessarily, but right-sided nonetheless. It's just that (I'm suspecting) he's not that good.
