Can I just say this on behalf of all of us out there who are sometimes seen as Fun People please?

We very much cherish your opinion of us and we're delighted that you took the time and trouble to buy us a gift and we really honestly are NOT doing down your efforts BUT sometimes it might be nice to get a pair of socks instead of a novelty gift that's entertaining for about as long as it takes to read the box and which we stuff into a cupboard and give to the next unrelated toddler who has a birthday
