One way to make SD channels look amazing on an HD telly....

Buy an HD Freesat box, I got the Humax HDR a few weeks ago after dumping Sky and it makes normal channells look fantastic.

The problem usually is that you have an HD telly trying to upscale an SD signal that's being fed to it via scart. Once you send that signal down a lossless connector like HDMI the TV has plenty to work with, or as in this case, has nothing to do to make the signal look it's best.
