Although I agree with some arguements for his dismissal

I don't want the board to sack him because I am worried about who would then go on to apply for the job. On the slim chance we would actually attract someone better to apply, they would still have the same money, the same players, and the same transfers available so could they really be 'that' much more successful? Yes they might motivate the players more but at best, we would still be a team that would be yoyoing between the premiership and championship which is what we have already. If we do slip to a point where we are no longer promotion contenders then I'll join the bandwagon.

I am not sure how things work with regard to recruiting managers. I would feel more confident about securing a decent manager if we can go out and approach people ourselves but I presume we are not allowed to approach managers in the same way we are not allowed to approach players. If this is the case then I wouldn't want to have to sit and wait for decent applications to come in, it would worry me too much. Does anyone know if I am right in presuming this? I'd feel more confident if someone could tell me I'm wrong.
