OT : Bandwidth question for watching footie stream

What is the average speeds of internet bandwidth for homes around Norwich?

This relates to questions I had watching Norwich vs Leeds the other night.

A friend found a higher quality stream unwatchable.

I am on a 3 mbps connection here in the US but have no trouble watching most streams on a 1.5 mbps connection.
