It's frustrating because we went so far, and now we could well be back where we started ..

When we signed Crouch and Huckerby on loan, I was ecstatic, and delighted when we kept Hucks, like everyone.

When we signed Bentley, Safri, Jonson and (particularly) Helveg last summer, I was really excited (not knowing how Worthy would mis-manage them, of course).

And when we spent ?3m on Ashton - I never thought I'd see the day. But now we're back with the likes of Colin, Hughes, Jarrett and Thorne - all cheap, all seemingly journeymen.

How has Worthington (and the board) allowed this to happen?
