Would be good if schools could give a 'trade' option earlier on. Mebbe.

A lot of kids are totally uninterested in the entire core subjects, so maybe something different would give them and interest in school, which might then be seen in other subjects.

Especially if doing some GCSE building for example, gave them reason to have some basic maths skills.
Example, need to be able to do some maths to get the mix right for concrete.
