I think Blackburn were quite something

all the tea in China can't buy you the title, but they won the Premiership without ever resorting to ridiculous purchases/outlays (Leeds anyone?). They bought strong, they bought well, but never silly.

And despite one blip season, have remained comfortable Prem ever since without (to the best of my knowledge) any financial crises.

Perhaps all a little underrated.
