the Academy system doesn't help though

remember the talent we used to get from Wales and the West Country (Bellamy, Eadie etc). Can't do that now- we don't have a large area to draw from.

And what clubs do have successful youth policies? - it is very expensive, and much harder relativley speaking now the top clubs are bringing in talent from around the world. The standard required from young players is higher than it used to be.
