Not at this point, no.

The protests under Chase started well before Watling made his interest plain, incidentally; and it's a moot point whether the fans had much to do with his exit anyway. It probably had a lot more to do with Barclays. But if the fans keep behaving on blind trust, the board can keep taking us for granted; and keep making the same mistakes again and again, with no recourse open to anyone.
