One thing that does concern me about worthy...

It does concern me that he seems to be so off the pace with his ideas about the team.

2 years ago most fans were calling for svenno and leon to be played up front and hucks out wide. It took ages and ages and we werent firing on all cylinders, then worthy tries it and we won so many games towards the end of the year.

Last season we were calling for shacks, helveg and safri to be given a chance, and holt dropped. Months and months pass and eventually we try it and it works, and we nearly stay up.

This season, everyone of us can see that we need strengthening in central defense and midfield and worthy goes out and bids 2m for a striker. Surely if we have a couple of million spare we could shore up our defense and finally pension off flem.

What i dont understand is that if we are up to strength in central defense then why was he interested in signing primus. For someone who was an international defender, he doesnt seem to be able to organise a defense properly.

I am not calling for his head, and I still think that we can do the business this season. But if we do fail then the brunt of the blame will have to fall at his door. The board have backed him financially more than any manager in recent years, and I think he has to deliver this year.

Also for those saying that he should be beyond criticism because of what he has achieved in the past, then that is rubbish in my mind. If a player plays badly for over a season, we call for him to be dropped. The same should be true of a manager.

Past glories are just that, in the past.
