THis is what worries me. Whoever we appoint will give someone a crushing sense of despair

It will create those who are just waiting for him to fail, and is unlikely to unite the fans.
Whoever is appointed we'll hear "Should have been Robins/Holloway/Gannon etc etc" so unless the clun somehow appoint all of them we are screwed.

Of course, if whoever it is starts well the problem will be solved, but i'm convinced we won't.
Realistically, I can't see us getting our of league 1 till next season at the earliest. There is just too much to be done for a club as cash strapped as we now seem to be.
However, i'm already hearing talks of champions, play off's minimum etc etc.
I am getting increasingly worried about next season and our long term future.
