hmmm........

lived in germany in the late 80's for 2 years where Goth was actually in fashion!

living in a barrack block I couldnt get away from the likes of the sisters of mercy, the cure (disintegration period), the mission (tower of strength) and the cult (she sells sandwiches!)

actually grew to love it as great driving music (killed many an hour on the autobahns going away for weekends) - floodland by the sisters, love by the cure and disintegration have to be up there in my all time fave albums, purely cos they remind me of my happy younger (and single!) days between ages of 18-20....

saw the cure head a festival on the loreley (bit like v festival), supported by the mission and the sugarcubes (complete with bjork!) - fantastic time in the mosh pit!!!
