i've got a dell inspiron

it cost me about 500 quid a couple of years ago and has held up quite well. Main problem is the advance of technology and the sudden demand for things that weren't affordable or necessary when i bought it, like firewire, extra drivespace, bluetooth, HDMI etc. But i reckon if i could do without that s**t before i don't see why i need it now.
