That's reasonable

Unreconstructed lefty that I am (& paying more than 50% tax in Denmark) I'd be fairly happy to see no tax rises so long as those responsible for this financial crisis go to prison for a very long time (and believe me, a lot of this debt packaging was *deliberately* done to fool customers - fraud pure and simple)
